Crotone
Crotone is the main city of the homonimus province, in Calabria. It is located on the shores of the Ionian Sea, in the South of the Italian peninsula. White sand beaches and crystal clear waters make this town one of the most important in the region cited. In addition, the natural marine reserve of Capo Rizzuto, close to Crotone covers an area of approximately 15,000 hectares of sea, which made it the largest of Italy in terms of land area.
The castle of Charles V was built in 840 and constitutes the main attraction of the city of Crotone. Currently, the castle hosts an archaeological museum and a few events.
